SV	Als nu de koning David tot aan Bahurim kwam, ziet, toen kwam van daar een man uit, van het geslacht van het huis van Saul, wiens naam was Simei, de zoon van Gera; hij ging steeds voort, en vloekte.
WLC	וּבָ֛א הַמֶּ֥לֶךְ דָּוִ֖ד עַד־בַּֽחוּרִ֑ים וְהִנֵּ֣ה מִשָּׁם֩ אִ֨ישׁ יֹוצֵ֜א מִמִּשְׁפַּ֣חַת בֵּית־שָׁא֗וּל וּשְׁמֹו֙ שִׁמְעִ֣י בֶן־גֵּרָ֔א יֹצֵ֥א יָצֹ֖וא וּמְקַלֵּֽל׃
Trans.	ûḇā’ hammeleḵə dāwiḏ ‘aḏ-b^aḥûrîm wəhinnēh miššām ’îš ywōṣē’ mimmišəp^aḥaṯ bêṯ-šā’ûl ûšəmwō šimə‘î ḇen-gērā’ yōṣē’ yāṣwō’ ûməqallēl:

AC	ה ובא המלך דוד עד בחורים והנה משם איש יוצא ממשפחת בית שאול ושמו שמעי בן גרא יצא יצוא ומקלל
ASV	And when king David came to Bahurim, behold, there came out thence a man of the family of the house of Saul, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera; he came out, and cursed still as he came.
BE	And when King David came to Bahurim, a man of Saul's family named Shimei, the son of Gera, came out from there, calling curses after him.
